Volunteering and fundraising is a great way for schools to engage with their local communities and support those most in need. We have opportunities to support Fresh Start for all age groups!
Become a student ambassador
Raise awareness with your fellow students about the work of Fresh Start.
Consider choosing Fresh Start to hold a collection of goods for our vital starter packs. It’s a great way of getting parents and carers to engage with the school at any time of year and help the local community. We can assist you in collections and come along talk about the important work that we do.
Organise a sponsored walk, a sponsored gaming evening, a bake sale, or get friends and family involved to raise vital funds for our services. Get some inspiration here!
Many schools run the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) project, empowering young people to make a difference in their communities while developing a range of skills. This is a great way of raising awareness of Fresh Start’s work and potentially securing £3,000 of funds for Fresh Start if your group is chosen in the final. We can help you with all the information that you need if you choose Fresh Start as your chosen charity for your YPI Project.
