We rely on the generosity of others
Cookers for Christmas 2021

With the festive season now upon us, we launch this year's Cookers for Christmas appeal 🎀

As we move out of the pandemic and into happier times, many people are still experiencing the challenges that come with the journey out of homelessness and into their new tenancy.
At Fresh Start, we want to ease these burdens and ensure everyone can have a joyful festive season this year. By providing essential white goods, we hope that we can help turn a house into a home and give people the means to be able to host their very first Christmas dinner in their new home.

This is where you can help! Any donation, big or small, will go to help those who are struggling financially by providing them with a cooker and other essential white goods for their homes. Help to take the stress and worry out of this festive period and donate to our Cookers for Christmas Appeal 2021! Thank you for your generosity and support.

Donate to Cookers for Christmas

A new tenancy is a first step, an opportunity, but it is only a beginning. By supporting our work, you can help change the life of someone who has been homeless. All donations, no matter how big or small, make a difference, as they will help us provide bedding to keep someone warm at night, curtains to block out the all too familiar harsh streetlights, or a kettle and toaster to make a cuppa and breakfast.

You can visit our online 'virtual shop' to make a donation, you can donate £5 to 'Food for a Fiver', helping stock our Community Pantry, a dignified alternative to food bank dependency, or during this time when we are unable to accept donations, you can help us purchase goods by donating £7 for a starter pack top up or £20 for a full starter pack!

Or, if you would prefer, you can make a one-off donation by clicking the button below, or you can contact our office 0131 476 7741 or to make a bank payment to our account. Please also think about regular giving, this can be every month, or once a quarter or once a year, but knowing we have this regular income is a huge help to us. If you would like to know more, please give us a call or drop us an email.

Thank you!
