We want to work with students who are looking for an autonomous programme where they will be supported to lead, dream big and find new and creative ways to support Fresh Start’s mission to help people make a home for themselves.
As a Fresh Start Student Ambassador, you will undertake activities to raise awareness and increase support for Fresh Start. We welcome any ideas on how you would want to do this, but here’s a few ideas on how you could get started:
- Coordinate a household goods donation drive on campus or for your Society.
- Participate in an existing challenge to fundraise for us, eg. a marathon or Kiltwalk.
- Create your own fundraising event, eg. a bake sale, game-a-thon, physical challenge, reading challenge, etc.
- Support our team at pop-ups, stalls, charity fairs and other adhoc events.
Why Get Involved?
- A great opportunity to give back to the community and help people moving on from homelessness in Edinburgh.
- Boost your CV and gain volunteering and leadership skills that universities and employers look for.
- Expand your perspective and meet like-minded individuals looking to make a difference.
- Flexible involvement around work and studies.
How do I get involved?
