Help for Individuals

If you have just moved into a new tenancy, our Starter Packs of everyday household goods might help, please ask your Housing Officer to contact the Gateway Project 0131 561 8903

If you are in need of a cooker, washing machine or fridge freezer, you may be eligible for help, please call us on 0131 476 7741.

If you are in the first twelve weeks of your tenancy, then our Hit Squad Service could help to decorate up to two rooms. Ask your Housing Officer or someone that is supporting you to call us on 0131 476 7741 or email admin@freshstartweb.org.uk.

Our cooking classes teach people how to cook, healthy, nutritious meals on a budget and our Dish of the Day cook bags provide all the ingredients to make meals at home. Ask your Housing Officer or someone that is supporting you to call us on 0131 476 7741 or email admin@freshstartweb.org.uk.

We have a number of Growing Spaces across the city where we grow fruit and vegetables. You will have the opportunity to work with our volunteers, learn some gardening skills and get some outdoor exercise. Please click here for more information, Fresh Start Growing & Sharing; Food Leaflet

If you are unemployed, our ReFresh course can give you skills, experience and a qualification, for more information, click here.
