There are a number of ways that you can get involved with our work.
Goods – We need goods for our Starter Packs. These are basic essential household goods and cleaning materials. The Packs are made up at our warehouse and distributed to clients. If you would like to get involved, you can hold a collection at your church. All that we ask is that the items are clean and you would be happy to use yourself. To see the list of items we collect, please click here to view Starter Pack Items Leaflet.
If your church would like to be involved with Fresh Start on a regular basis or if you would like someone from Fresh Start to visit your church to give a talk to the congregation or any groups, please call 0131 476 7741.
Volunteers – We rely on teams of volunteers to help us deliver our Services. If you would like to get involved as a volunteer, please click here to learn more about how to join our team.
Money – We rely on the generosity of donations to carry on our work. We are very grateful to a number of congregations throughout the city who have organised collections and fundraising events, such as guest lectures and concerts. If your church would like to hold a special collection or fundraising event to support us please call 0131 476 7741
PAT Testing – Our PAT Testing business is part of our Training Initiative providing opportunities for our Trainees to gain valuable skills and experience to get into the workplace. The business also operates as social enterprise, feeding into the work of the charity. If your church needs PAT Testing carried out, please consider using us.
