Charity Cyclists Complete Immense Challenge for Fresh Start

Congratulations to a team of four employees from BlackRock in Edinburgh for completing a grueling cycling challenge to raise money for Fresh Start. Scott, Adam, Grant and Keiron took part in BlackRock’s international annual cycling event alongside employees from offices all over the world. The event was a cycle from Paris to Geneva – a daunting 340 miles and a climb of 18, 645 feet!

87 cyclists took part, from 12 different BlackRock offices and consisted of 17 different nationalities. More than $200,000 has been raised for various charities – and not without pain, including broken collarbones and dodgy knees!

We are absolutely delighted that the team from the Edinburgh office chose to fundraise for Fresh Start. We have received great support from BlackRock in the past but we were so pleased to find out that the team had decided to go for a local charity in such an international event.

Thank you so much to Scott, Adam, Grant and Keiron – to date they have managed to raise over £1000 for Fresh Start from their efforts.
